With the PSD2 directive, the European Union want to develop the market for electronic payments and enable simplified and secure payments.
This has been the starting point when developing the Focalpay payment platform. The platform enables secure and customer friendly mobile payments, both online and in a physical store, with built-in support for all existing payments methods including account-to-account transfer according to PSD2. The latter method is the most cost-efficient payment method, with zero risk, on the market today.
Focalpay is currently running a fully operational proof of concept at ICA Maxi Lindhagen Stockholm with very promising results. More information about the customer journey can be seen in this film.
